The four levels
- Owner. Everything, including billing and deleting the account. An account always keeps at least one owner, so the last one cannot be removed or moved down.
- Admin. Everything except deleting the account. Can invite people, change the plan and run rooms.
- Operator. Runs rooms and laptops, with no billing and no members. Creates meetings and rooms, connects laptops, imports a schedule, prints signs, starts and stops captions. This is the level for the person who is actually at the venue.
- Viewer. Read-only. Sees the dashboard and the transcripts, changes nothing.
A level applies to the whole account and to every meeting in it. There is no per-meeting access yet, so give people the smallest level that lets them do their job.
Adding somebody
Members, then type their email address, choose the level and invite them. They get one email. Until they sign in for the first time their line reads Invited, hasn't signed in yet. Changing somebody's level later is the same list and one menu.
Taking somebody away
Remove, on their line. Their access stops immediately, and their meetings stay exactly where they are, because meetings belong to the account rather than to a person. The last owner cannot be removed; move somebody else up first.
The venue's AV person does not need an account
The most common mistake here is inviting the wrong person. Whoever opens the room laptop needs no Frasiey account at all: the laptop is connected once with a six-character code or by scanning its QR, and after that it does what your dashboard tells it. Only give somebody an account if they need to see or change something in the dashboard itself.
What to do next
Send new colleagues to Sign in, which is the first thing they will need.
