Setup and cost

On for a meeting, a room or a session. In Settings, under Summaries. Your schedule's Summary column turns single sessions off.

$9.00 per captioned hour, however you pay. It is a paid add-on, so a free account cannot turn it on.

Hide any summary. From the meeting's Summaries tab, an operator can hide any finished summary, and Show again puts it back.
The fine print
- A running summary is written in the language being spoken and in the languages people in that room are reading at the time, up to six of them. A reader whose language it has not reached yet is told there is no summary in their language yet, and is never shown one in a language they did not choose.
- When that part of the session is finished, the final summary is written in every language the meeting offers, up to twelve. A meeting can offer up to 24 reading languages, so in a meeting that offers more than twelve, the rest show no summary.
- A summary is marked Final once that part of the session is finished, even while the room is still live.
- A new depth is used by the next summary that starts. The summary being written now keeps the depth it began with.
- Earlier today is always there. Turn on Attendees can read earlier sessions in Settings and Earlier sessions reaches back through the whole meeting.
- Breaks and lunches on your schedule are summarized too, unless you switch them off.
- Hiding a summary reaches phones within a minute and never touches the captions or the transcript.
- Every summary carries a note that it was written automatically from the captions and can get things wrong. It helps people catch up; it is not your minutes.
